     In 2001, Viña completed adapting a video series on the book of Acts into the Western Cakchiquel language. A pastor, whose church was shown the first 13 chapters of Acts during the field-testing of the video, shared the following.

     “The Acts video had a great impact on me. I have never read that many chapters at one time in my life! But now, I not only heard the Word, but I saw it, and even more importantly, I understood it, because it was in my own language. Some of the things that really stood out for me were the conversion of Paul—how the Lord called him to work for Him; also, the defense of Stephen, the first martyr, and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. I had read these sections [in Spanish] but never understood them that well. I would really like to see the rest of the video series.”
